Easy Slow-Cooker Organic Chicken and Pineapple
- 2 organic chicken breasts
- 1 pineapple, cut into bite size cubes
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper (omit if not good for your blood type)
Set chicken on a cutting board or large plate. Place pineapple cubes in the bottom of your slow-cooker.
In a small bowl mix: ginger, garlic, sea salt and ground black pepper
Sprinkle spices on all sides of chicken.
Place seasoned chicken on top of pineapple in the slow-cooker and cook on low for 3 ½-4 hours until cooked all the way through.
If you have a meat thermometer, cook until the thickest part of the chicken breast reaches 165 degrees F.
Pineapple is a good anti-inflammatory food and helps with digestion (especially in Blood Type A’s)
